Wolf and coyote hunting and trapping banned in some parks

If you trap or hunt wolves or coyotes, you just lost some of your hunting territory.  The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is banning wolf and coyote hunting and trapping at four provincial parks.  The reason is the Algonquin wolf is now a threatened species and the ban is designed to help bring back the population.  However because the Algonquin looks like other wolves and coyotes, the ministry is applying the ban on all wolves and coyotes.  Landowners in the affected areas are exempt from the ban if they or their livestock face danger from wolves or coyotes.  Killarney and Algonquin are two of the four provincial parks now under the ban.
