At least one person has died after two tractor trailers collided earlier Thursday on Highway 11 south of Temagami. The 9:00am crash has forced the closure of Highway 11 from Temagami to North Bay while OPP continue to investigate. Police haven’t said yet what caused the collision. The highway will remain closed for what police say will be an extensive period of time. In the meantime, southbound traffic can detour onto Highway 65 in New Liskeard and then go through Highway 101 in Quebec. The detour works in reserve for northbound traffic.
