A Toronto consulting firm is helping the District School Board Ontario North East find a new education director. Linda Knight is retiring as the board`s education director next November and the goal is to have her replacement hired by August. Overlapping both directors for a few months would help Knight`s replacement ease into their new position. Knight has been the board`s education director since 2001 and when she steps down next year she will have served 49 years in the education field.
