News OFSC says stay off snowmobile trails SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Monday, Nov. 21st, 2016 Each year die-hard sledders are itching to take out their snowmobiles when we get a significant amount of snow like this week. However snow mobile clubs are telling them it’s way too early to hit the trails. The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs wants snowmobile enthusiasts to keep their sleds parked because the trails aren’t open. Although there’s snow on some trails, it’s not deep enough to protect the under-carriage of your snowmobile. That means you could hit hidden objects under the snow and the next thing you know you’ll be knocked off your snowmobile.
