Although it has campuses in Northern and Southern Ontario, College Boreal is now trying to convince students from the south to come north. It’s an effort to drive up enrolment. College president Daniel Giroux says many colleges face declining enrolment because high schools are producing fewer graduates. Boreal will try to raise more awareness about its northern campuses and the programs it offers like mining and agriculture, to southern students.
