It’s a big feather in the cap for Northern’s Practical Nursing program. The College of Nurses of Ontario, which rates health-related college programs, has given the Northern program the highest possible rating. College spokeswoman Judy Rantala says the rating is the result of several factors including a dedicated faculty. The rating agency considers a number of performance indicators in its review including student satisfaction and graduation rate. Northern, getting the highest approval rating in the Practical Nursing program is almost becoming routine. That’s because the program has a history of high achievement.
