The Timmins Police Service is looking for a missing 16-year-old girl. Janet Etherington was last seen by a family member on Tuesday evening. She was gathering her personal belongings at her aunt’s house, and had said she had a ride waiting for her to go to Thunder Bay. She is described as Aboriginal, 5’8, 160 lbs, medium build, brown eyes, and medium-length curly hair which is usually in a ponytail. When last seen, she was wearing a green fall jacket with fur around the collar, blue jeans, and beige boots. She was carrying a backpack and a gym bag. Anyone with relevant information on where the teen might be is asked to call the Timmins Police at 705-264-1201. Update: The missing teenager has been found, and police say she is in good health.
