News Timmins to look at cost of refurbishing Hollinger grandstands SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, Oct. 27th, 2016 Photo: Supplied by Taylor Ablett. Timmins is going to be looking at the cost to re-do the grandstands at the Hollinger Park. This was requested by Councillor Noella Rinaldo during the first budget meeting of the year. She says it was made clear during public consultations that residents want this done. She says residents have been very vocal about keeping the grandstands at the park, as it’s a heritage site for the city. The rest of council was on board with the pitch, and so the cost to upgrade the grandstands has been added to the preliminary budget wish list. The next budget meeting is set for the end of November.
