The MPP for Nipissing has released some startling energy figures. Vic Fedeli says Northern Ontario households paid 45 per cent more in electricity than people of Toronto. Overall energy costs in a northern home are 25 per cent more than what a Torontonian pays. Those figures are from the Financial Accountability Officer.

And, just recently, the energy ministry said there are fewer outages or brown outs since the Liberals took power from the Tories in 2003. But Fedeli says according to the Annual Blackout Tracker, power outages in Ontario jumped 275 per cent from 2012 to last year.
