News iPad initiative being called a success for the DSB ONE SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, Sep. 15th, 2016 The District School Board Ontario North East is reporting a successful first year of their 1:1 iPad initiative. The board did a survey over the summer of students who had the tablets, which show over 90 per cent use them to enhance or support learning. The board says they are expanding the program this year, giving personal tablets to students in grades five to 11.
