A presentation on banning left turns along Algonquin is part of tonight’s city council meeting

The city will be getting more details on the cost for geo-technical work for the proposed aquatic centre tonight. That information will be released at tonight’s council meeting, and will involve looking at the soil and ground conditions for the work.

Three items requested by Councillor Rick Dubeau are also on tonight’s agenda. Those are listed only as “no left turns along Algonquin”, “climate change presentation request”, and “cost of Connecting Link”.

The city will also be voting on a number of bylaws, including allowing Full Beard to add a brewery to their Wilson location, and agreements for work at the Hallnor Industrial Park. Noticeably absent from tonight’s agenda is a vote on the smoking bylaw.

The meeting is at 5:00pm tonight at city hall.
