A fatal crash in Kirkland Lake has claimed the life of a 27-year-old woman. Amanda Van Kempen was riding her motorcycle, when it was involved in a collision with two cars. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead as a result of her injuries. It happened on Tuesday evening on Government Road west. The drivers of the other cars weren’t injured.
No charges have been laid, but the investigation is ongoing.
