A theft at a local camp site is under investigation, and police are looking for more information. Timmins Police Constable Nick Osborne says the theft happened sometime between August 17th and 23rd, at a camper in the city’s north end.
A number of items were stolen from the camper, including alcohol, a television, a chainsaw, and a four wheeler. On top of that, the suspects stole the keys to the victim’s equipment, essentially making them useless.
Osborne says some of the stolen items have since been recovered, but they are still looking for those responsible. Anybody with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS, or to post the information on the Tip Submit website. All of the information provided is anonymous.
