More than 50 northern businesses will be showcased to over 300,000 people at this year’s Royal Winter Fair

The annual Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto is getting some northern Ontario flavour this year. FedNor is investing almost $480,000 to create a 7,000 square foot pavilion at the event. The pavilion will showcase more than 50 businesses from the north, in the agriculture, agri-food, and equine industries.

Nipissing-Temiskaming MP, Anthony Rota, says this going to help increase sales, create consumer awareness and grow operations for local businesses in the region. The funding announced is provided through FedNor’s Northern Ontario Development program which supports community economic growth, and helps enhance and develop businesses throughout the region.

The Royal runs from November 4th to the 13th, and draws in more than 300,000 people.
