News Timmins police arrest woman in backyard thefts SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Wednesday, Aug. 3rd, 2016 An arrest has been made in a series of backyard thefts in Timmins. Police have charged a 21-year-old Timmins woman with theft under five thousand dollars, possession of property obtained by crime and trespass at night. During the early morning hours of Sunday, July 10th, there were a number of thefts where property went missing from people’s backyards. When police found the accused, they also found some of the alleged missing property. All the thefts took place in a neighbourhood in the south end of Timmins.
