An attempted robbery at a local hotel is ending in charges for a 41-year-old Timmins woman. The police allege she approached the front desk on Wednesday night, demanding cash. The attendant refused, and was physically accosted by the accused, who claimed she had a weapon. The attendant was able to escape with minor injuries, and a co-worker called the police.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, but officers tracked her down. She is now looking at attempted robbery charges, and has a court date next month.
