Northern College is above the provincial average when it comes to student employment. According the recent stats from the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, just under 90 per cent of students who graduate find a job within six months. President Fred Gibbons says they work closely with industry to ensure that much of the programs the school delivers aligns with current projected workforce hiring requirements. Employers seem to think so too because the data also shows that over 85 per cent of employers are satisfied with their Northern College alumni hires.
