The Timmins Police Service is charging a 64-year-old local man with fraud. Police say a six-month long investigation has wrapped up into the fraud at a local hardware store. Officers found over $5,000Â worth of fraudulently obtained power tools during a search warrant at a home on McLeod Street.
That’s in addition to the almost $4,000 in building supplies and fixtures that were installed in a home and garage. The accused has been released from custody and has a court date next month. He is facing charges for fraud over $5,000 and property obtained by crime.
