A $35,000 theft from Expedition Helicopters in Cochrane is under investigation by the OPP. It happened in early June, when a trailer and a generator were stolen from the company. The trailer was hooked up along a well travelled portion of the Trans Canada Highway and driven off.
The trailer is described as a black, flatbed, tandem trailer with wood decking and loading ramps. The generator is 10 feet long, beige and red in colour, and made by Shindaiwa Construction Products.
