News Water main break slows down traffic at Riverside and Shirley SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Monday, Jun. 13th, 2016 Public Utilities is working to repair a broken water main on Riverside. It’s at the intersection of Riverside and Shirley Street, one recently pinpointed by Timmins Police as having the most vehicle collisions. Traffic is down to one lane in each direction, and drivers are being asked to slow down as construction crews work to fix the issue. The water main broke on Saturday evening at about 6:00pm. It has now been fixed, but there is still construction in the area as back filling and paving will happen throughout the week. There is no timeline being released on when all four lanes will be re-open.
