Emergency Planning made easier for the Highway 11 corridor thanks to aerial photography

NEOnet has partnered up with 21 northern communities and the MNRF to improve its imaging, cartography, urban and emergency planning. The Wahgoshig First Nation and Temiskaming Shores Health Unit are also part of the massive partnership. On May 24th aerial imaging flights out of Timmins airport mapped a massive area of the Highway 11 corridor from Cochrane to Hearst.

NEOnet says the high quality imaging from the survey will provide up-to-date, easily accessible and region-wide information for municipalities.
