Fisheries crews from the MNRF will be in the field all summer checking the abundance of fish, water quality and on the hunt for invasive species. In total, fishery crews will be surveying 67 lakes in the Northeast this summer. The MNRF is asking any anglers who come across buoys for fisheries while they’re out boating or fishing to keep their distance. It says that extra information will be used in the future to determine seasons and size limits for anglers.
