Canada Day plans are coming together

Tourism Timmins is amping the city up for this year’s Canada Day celebrations by hinting at some of the activities to come. Mayor Steve Black says this promises to be the biggest one yet, with lots to see and do for all ages. There is going to be a kid’s zone running throughout the day, one of the largest fireworks displays the city has seen, and live music from James Bay band Black Stone.

There is also going to be a shuttle service running from the east end to the park at no cost. The whole thing gets underway at 11:00am on July 1st at the Fred Salvador Field in Hollinger Park.
