Despite the Liberal announcement to continue operating some ONTC services for three years Timiskaming-Cochrane MPP John Vanthof is not pleased.
He says this doest’ address the future of the ONTC.
Vanthof says this isn’t a real plan, instead it’s a feel-good Liberal announcement with no long-term stability for northern transportation or jobs.
He suggests that the sell-off of Ontera telecommunications shows the government is continuing down the path of selling off the ONTC a bit at a time.
