News Premier Kathleen Wynne will be in Timmins next week for FONOM conference SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, May. 5th, 2016 The annual FONOM meeting kicks off in Timmins next week. The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities is welcoming NDP leader Andrea Horwath and PC leader Patrick Brown, as well as Premier Kathleen Wynne to the city. The three-day event has workshops looking at the state of the forest economy, new initiatives for housing and homelessness, and new provincial disaster relief programs. There will also be a trade show at the Mac. The whole thing kicks off on Wednesday and runs until Friday.
