News Kapuskasing man facing charges after approaching kids with a knife SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Apr. 22nd, 2016 The OPP says it’s made an arrest after it received a report of a man waving a knife at a group of children on Riverside Drive in Kapuskasing. Police say a group of kids were walking when a man allegedly approached them with the knife. Police didn’t confirm whether it was an attempted theft or provide insight into his motive. A 25-year-old man from Kapuskasing has been charged with assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and failure to comply with probation. The OPP says the children were not injured in the incident.
