Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli feels pretty good about comments by the Prime Minister over the Ring of Fire. During a stop in Sudbury last week, Justin Trudeau said we can expect announcements on the chromite discovery in the coming months.
Fedeli says this suggests there’s hope to develop the giant deposit. He says we should tie Trudeau’s comment in with the province’s $1 billion commitment, and get some infrastructure built.
Fedeli is combining Trudeau’s statement with that of Allan Coutts, the president of Noront Resources who also said things are grinding forward. Noront is the largest player at the Ring of Fire.
