Cocaine trafficking investigation ends in charges for two Timmins residents

Two from Timmins are being charged in a three month long investigation into cocaine trafficking. The OPP have been looking into trafficking of the drug in both Blind River and Elliot Lake. Over the three months, three search warrants were carried out, along with two vehicle stops.

In total, police seized over 280 grams of cocaine, nine pounds of pot, 120 oxycodone pills, and $64,000 in cash. The street value of the drugs is $112,000. Six people are being charged, four from Blind River and two from Timmins.
