Ontario pitching in some money to help the Timmins Native Friendship Centre move locations

The Timmins Native Friendship is getting some support from the province for their move to a new location. Aboriginal Affairs Minister David Zimmer was in the city on Friday to announce a $322,000 grant to help with the move, which happened in December. This is so the organization can get all of their programming under one roof. Zimmer says it’s important for communities to have a gathering place where cultural and educational activities can take place.
