Police asking drivers to be cautious over the Easter long weekend

This Easter weekend, northern OPP detachments are reminding drivers to keep your eyes on the road, and not on your smartphone. The OPP says it will be deploying extra enforcement and increasing visibility.

Police advice the use of hands-free electronics at all times when driving. Under the new driving laws, a distracted driver can be fined up-to a thousand dollars and three demerit points.
