News Local man charged with criminal harassment SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Wednesday, Mar. 23rd, 2016 The Timmins Police Service is charging a local man with criminal harassment. The charges stem from an investigation that has been ongoing since November 2015. Police were getting complaints from an individual who claimed the accused was sending threatening text messages and phone calls. He also allegedly created multiple fake postings on buy-and-sell websites using the victim’s phone number, and sent various items to their house. The 20-year-old is now facing five charges, which include harassing communications and uttering threats. He has a court date next month.
