Harvesting, renewal, tending, road locations and access will be the subjects of discussion for a number of public meetings being held by the MNR and the Abitibi River Forest Local Citizens Committee of Cochrane. The goal of the meetings is to hear from the public on subjects like access and harvesting operations as part of another five-year term for the Abitibi River Forest management plan. The meetings will be making stops in Smooth Rock Falls, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls and Timmins.

March 24th Holiday Inn Express in Timmins
