OPP launching distracted driving campaign for March Break

The OPP says it has launched its distracted driving campaign, just in time for March break. Police say over the next week officers will be focusing on specifically on nabbing offenders and educating drivers.

The OPP says it’s all part of trying to improve safety and help drivers in avoiding a $490, three demerit point offense. Police say you are four times more likely to be in a collision if you’re using a cell phone while driving.
