News Nipigon Bridge back to two lanes SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Feb. 26th, 2016 There’s some progress with the Nipigon River Bridge. The second lane of the bridge has been re-opened. The bridge was completely shut down in January after it separated. This forced a delay of traffic nation-wide because the bridge is the only link between the east and the west. Since then, traffic has been moving across one lane of the bridge in alternating time. An investigation into what caused the split is ongoing. (Written by: Carleigh Bodrug)
