More cuts to FedNor are expected this year, and Charlie Angus is not happy about it. The Timmins-James Bay MP says over $9 million was cut from the budget in the last three years, and another $5.6 million is going to be slashed this year. He says FedNor plays a crucial role in diversifying northern Ontario’s economy, and is asking the feds for a commitment to the organization. Angus says we need to stop the cuts and stalled projects that have become commonplace in northern Ontario.
