Meeting times could change for Timmins City Council.
Council is debating changing the weekly meeting schedule to an every two week or twice a month schedule. There is also talk of changing the meeting day from Monday to Tuesday so not as many meetings get cancelled for holidays and possibly switching to a committee system.
All councillors seem to be open to the idea after hearing a report from City Clerk Steph Palmateer about how often other city councils in the province meet.
The item will come back next week for a vote.
