A free shuttle service is being provided for this year’s Kayak Fest. Supplied by the First Student Canada’s Charter Division, the shuttle will start at the Notre Dame Trailer Park and the Whitney Arena. It will then go to the park, with a number of pick-up and drop-off points along the way.
Event Co-Chair Jack Watson says this will help with the parking issue, along with the congestion and safety hazards along Riverside. Tourism Manager Guy Lamarche says the event has come a long way in a short period of time, with 55 corporate sponsors already on board for this year’s event.
