The Timmins Kiwanis Midget A girls team was in Kapuskasing yesterday helping to raise funds for the 16-year-old who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. They played two games against the Kap Icehawks Bantam AA boys, raising funds through 50/50 draws and games like Chuck a Puck. Current numbers show almost $11,000 has been raised in total for the teen and her family. Their Go Fund Me page has a goal of $15,000.
