The fight for fair gas prices along the Highway 11 corridor is gaining steam. Provincial NDP leader Andrea Horwath is now weighing in on the issue, saying it is something the party has been looking at a lot. She says they have come up with a couple of different ideas, one of which is regulating gas prices.

Horwath says all that means is making sure there is a fair way to determine what regional price differences would be, and to make sure there is no gouging happening. She also makes the point that it will stop the prices from sky-rocketing the Friday of a long weekend, and is something some eastern provinces already do.
