The special weather statement is in effect for a third straight day in Timmins. Snow started to fall last night and is expected to continue throughout the day today. Environment Canada is calling for 10 to 15 cm by late Wednesday. A snowfall warning isn’t expected to be put into place at this point, as 15 cm isn’t predicted within a 12 hour period.
