Drug related crime activity remains the number one issue for Near North Crime Stoppers. In this past year anonymous tips led to the recovery of more than $250,000 in illegal drugs. Anonymous information also led to the arrest of 39 people. Crime Stoppers says statistics remained strong in 2015, in part because of the popular web-tip option.
