Angus elected as the NDP’s National Caucus Chair

A northern Ontario MP is going to help represent the NDP at the House of Commons. Charlie Angus has just been elected National Caucus Chair. The Timmins-James Bay representative says that means making sure the party stays focused in the house, speaking on the issues they need to, and to be the voice of all of the MP’s in the party.

Angus says the job is to make sure the NDP is working towards a plan and being effective. Angus is also the NDP’s Critic for Indigenous Affairs and for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for the north.
