News New addiction services available to Northeastern residents in 2016 SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Wednesday, Jan. 20th, 2016 North Cochrane Addiction Services is offering a variety of resources in the New Year to residents of the Northeast. District Manager of the North Cochrane Addition Services and its detox centre, Marielle Cousinaeu says the organization will be the first in the province to use a new evaluation process. They will be implementing a new assessment tool, which will better assess those who use the service in terms of mental health and addiction. Cousinaeu says they are very happy to be the first to be using this tool in the province. She says the counselling services are open to everyone in need, with a focus on addressing addiction in youth. Cousinaeu says services are easy to access, either through the website or by calling your local office. They have offices in Kapuskasing, Hearst, Cochrane, and Smooth Rock Falls.
