The Days Inn Spring Ball and Lottery is being held on May 3rd.
There is $50,000 worth of prizes to be won including a De Beers Victor Mine 1.04 carat square cut diamond valued at 9,000 dollars, as well as a trip to New York City, cash prizes and more.
Only 200 of the coveted gold lottery tickets will be sold at $500 each.
All funds will go towards the TADH endoscopy program to improve patient care, safety, and privacy.
Gastroenterologist, Dr. Gus Adesanya, says with the current space they’re in they are often bumping into each other making it difficult to do procedures because the space is so small.
On average, 6,000 patients are currently treated in the limited space according to TADH Chief of Staff Dr. Harry Voogjarv.
Adesanya suspects they will move into the new space within the next four weeks and the funds from the Spring Ball will help to purchase new equipment to fill it. The new and bigger space will not only allow for more procedures to be done but also improve privacy.
Adesanya says right now patients are only separated by a curtain but the new area will provide a space for patients to be asked about their medical history in private.
