Environment Canada is calling for significant snowfall in Timmins today

Environment Canada is putting Timmins under a special weather statement as they are calling for significant snow. An Alberta clipper is passing through, beginning this afternoon. We could be getting up to 20 centimetres of snow by tomorrow morning. Driving conditions are expected to deteriorate quickly as the snow begins around noon today.

No snowfall warnings are in place yet, however that may change as Environment Canada continues to monitor the weather.

You can keep an eye on the road conditions with the MTO’s website.
