With a recent $2,000 donation, Timmins is almost at the target number to sponsor a Syrian refugee family. Evans, Bragagnolo & Sullivan LLP made the donation this week and now the Multicultural Centre says they are very close to their $30,000Â goal.
Any money donated above and beyond that will go towards helping a second family. The city will match any donations up to December 31st.  Drop donations off to Timmins City Hall at the main floor finance desk. Donations can also be made online, on the city’s website.
