A fire that is causing the La Ronde Cultural Center to close this week is now being called suspicious. Timmins Police are investigating the blaze which broke out early Friday morning at La Chaumiere. The fire department was able to get the flames under control, but there was significant damage done to the restaurant.

The investigation was handed over to police because of evidence found at the scene.
