Curley talks about how income-splitting will boost our economy

Harper’s income splitting plan is going to help boost our local economy. That’s what Conservative candidate for the Timmins-James Bay riding John Curley is saying. He says creating jobs and lowering taxes are his biggest focus for this election. He says the income splitting plan will give families some extra cash at the end of year, which can then be put into the economy.

He says the income splitting has been a blessing, and the Conservatives want to keep it going even though other parties want to get rid of it. He says if the government can encourage low taxes, it will encourage small businesses. Curley says that in turn will lead to jobs, which goes hand-in-hand and is a good combination to have in place.

NDP candidate Charlie Angus, Green Party candidate Max Kennedy, and Liberal candidate Todd Lever all say that creating jobs and our local economy are the biggest issues for this election.
