The Terry Fox Run is this weekend. Sunday is the 35th annual run, and will be held at Gillies Lake. There is a 5-kilometre and a 10-kilometre route for walkers or runners. The theme of the run this year is 35 for 35, because of the anniversary and the population of Canada hitting 35-million. The foundation has a target of raising $35-million this year, saying if everybody donates one dollar that goal is attainable.
The run is in the MRCA parking lot of Gillies. Registration starts at noon on Sunday.
