Starting Monday, Northern College will be celebrating its third annual Indigenous Cultural Awareness Week. All four Northern campuses will be hosting events throughout next week. Kirkland Lake, Timmins, Moosonee and Haileybury campuses will hold arts and crafts workshops, traditional food, and live music. Local organizations will also be pitching in at each campus for the week’s events. The college’s Indigenous Council on Education will bring the campuses together for the event which is open to both students and the public.
